Frequently Asked Questions

What are your office hours?

Our offices are open from 8:30 to 12:30 and 1:30 to 5:00 Monday through Friday, excluding holidays.

How long does it take to get a prescription refilled?

We ask that you allow 72 hours for prescription refills.

When refilling a prescription, should I call my doctor or the pharmacy first?

Our treatment plan allows for our patients to have adequate medication until their next required visit. If you are down to zero refills, please call our office to make an appointment before your prescription runs out.

How long does it take to get lab results back?

Our goal is to report lab results to you within 7 to 10 working days. Please contact our office (by phone or email) if you have not heard about your results within 2 weeks.

How long does it take to get results of studies, like xrays, scans, or tests done outside the office?

Routine tests like mammograms and bone density studies are similar to lab results and can take 7 to 10 working days to report. More urgent studies like CT scans and xrays are reported to you in 1 to 3 days or as soon as the results are reported to us.

How do I know that the specialist my doctor sent me to is in my insurance plan?

Our referral experts strive to assure that doctors you are referred to are on your insurance plan. However, other doctors change the insurance plans they accept without notifying our office. Ultimately, it is best for you to confirm with the specialist and your insurance company to determine of the specialist participates in your heath insurance plan.

If I have a question about my bill, who do I talk to?

Anyone in our billing department would be happy to help you via phone or email.

If I get sick after hours, what do I do?

As always, if you are having an emergency, it is best to call 911 or present to the Emergency Department at your local hospital. Urgent issues that require speaking to a physician are best handled by calling our main number and connecting to the answering service. A physician is always on call for these urgent matters. Please note that we are unable to access your records or refill medications after hours.
